Organization

The mission of the Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center is to deliver quality health care services to the people of St. Croix. St. Croix’s only hospital provides round-the-clock emergency room care, including advanced cardiac treatment.

Challenge

The hospital has experienced a number of high-profile PR issues. Spotlite was charged with restoring faith in board, executive team and hospital services as well as internally elevate brand that will in turn support recruitment efforts.

Recommendation

Rebrand hospital creative look and feel, develop website that communicates hospital investment in technology and family medicine. Elevate physicians, executive team, and board. Provide HR job manager for recruitment marketing and PR portal for media.

Method

Spotlite went through a series of meetings and interviews with the executive team to research and obtain buy in for new communication directions. We built a multi-level site WordPress site that met the needs of internal and government stakeholders as well as patients. The site was a CMS with a hierarchy of permissions for various departments to self-edit their content. Website security and server management was especially important on this project to meet compliance requirements. Site was built to be ADA compliant.
